Ceremony Venue:
The Tarpeian Lawn
Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
The Tarpeian Lawn is accessed via Macquarie Street or the Opera House forecourt via the Tarpeian Way steps.
For those guests that travel via train, Circular Quay station is the nearest station.
For those guests that travel via taxi or rideshare, there a number of safe stopping options along the lower part of Macquarie Street. The pathway from Macquarie Street is a gentle incline.
For those guests that travel via car and need parking, we recommend using the Opera House carpark operated by Wilson Parking. The Tarpeian Lawn is directly above the car park.
Wet Weather Venue:
The Palm House
Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
The Palm House is a short distance from the main entry to Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. This is the intersection of Art Gallery Road and Mrs Macquarie’s Road, directly opposite the Art Gallery of NSW North Building.
For those guests that travel via taxi or rideshare, the best place to stop is the bus stop on Art Gallery Road. There are also several safe stopping options along Mrs Macquaries Road.
For those guests that travel via car and need parking, metered parking is available along Mrs Macquaries Road.
The Reception Venue:
Bangarra Dance Theatre
Hickson Road Walsh Bay
Bangarra Dance Theatre is at the end of Wharf 4/5 in Walsh Bay. Follow the signs to Sydney Theatre Company’s bar at the end of the wharf and you’ll find Bangarra downstairs.
A range of transport options are available at the end of the day.
The venue is near a taxi rank on Hickson Road and there is good service from rideshare services. Additionally, bus stops in both directions are nearby on Hickson Road.
For those guests that travel via car and need parking, we recommend using the Barangaroo Point carpark on Hickson Road operated by Wilson Parking. Pre-booked spaces are available. This car park is a short, level walk to the reception venue.
